Dr. Paul VanRaaphorst, also known as Dr. Van, has spent over 30 years devoted to the care of his patients, from periodontal treatment to placing well over 5000 dental implants. His passion is to provide his patients with the highest quality of periodontal care delivered in a caring and personal manner.
To keep current with the latest breakthroughs in dental care, Dr. VanRaaphorst is active in numerous professional organizations such as the MDA, ADA, AAP, Midwest Society of Periodontal and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. VanRaaphorst has held leadership roles in The Russell B. Bunting Periodontal Study Club, the Michigan Periodontal Association and the Council of Michigan Dental Specialties.
Dr. VanRaaphorst takes great pride in his supporting staff at the office. The office environment exudes what health care is all about; caring about patient’s health!
As a resident of the Rochester area, Dr. Van and his wife Joanna are involved with local charities such as Neighborhood House, The Greater Rochester Community Foundation and Friends of the Library. During his time away from the office, Dr. VanRaaphorst and Joanna enjoy mountain and road bicycling as well as travel with their two adult children, Max and Claire.
